\nMany of us simply think to ourselves, nothing is free; this is just

\na scam, right?<\/p>\n

\nNot necessarily. The plain and simple fact is, many incentive

\nprograms actually do work, according to their Terms &

\nConditions. But who really wants to read all of that legal

\nmumbo jumbo? <\/p>\n

\nWell I’m here to tell you that I have read the fine print for many

\nof these free gift incentive programs, and even completed a

\nfew. That’s right. I have received a few free gifts from these

\nprograms, including a Sony Vaio Laptop, an Apple iPod, and

\nseveral free gift cards. <\/p>\n

\nThis is quite fortunate for you. Since I have already been

\nthrough some of these free gift incentive programs, I know

\nwhat to expect, and how to avoid any hassles, and I’ve written

\nthis article to show you how.<\/p>\n

Wait. So you are saying these programs are legit?<\/b><\/i>

\nYes. Most of them are anyway. As long as you complete all of

\nthe requirements for the free gift incentive program within the

\ntime period allowed you will receive a \u201cfree gift.\u201d<\/p>\n

How can these companies afford to just give stuff away?<\/b><\/i>

\nIt’s all pretty simple. Free gift incentive programs are created to

\ndrive prospective customers to \u201csponsors\u201d who then pay the

\nincentive program for each lead sent. This money is then used

\nto buy and ship your free gift.<\/p>\n

\nFor example, imagine a free gift incentive program offering a

\n$50 Wal-Mart gift card. In order to receive this gift, you are

\nrequired to complete 6 sponsor offers. If the guys running the

\nincentive program receive $10 for each lead, then they have

\nenough money for your gift and a few dollars profit as well.<\/p>\n

So how can I make this easy?<\/b><\/i>

\nAs long as you are careful, receiving your free gift should only

\ntake a few hours of your time over the course of a month or so,

\ndepending on the program you choose and the free gift you

\nwant to receive.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s best to plan to complete all of the requirements for the free

\ngift incentive at once. Do not start one of these programs if you

\nwill not have time to spend on it. You will only have one shot at

\neach incentive program.<\/p>\n

**Pitfall Preventing** These free gift incentive programs

\nusually have time restrictions, so complete all offers as

\nquickly as possible. Some companies will give you up to 90

\ndays from the time you complete all the offers to claim

\nyour free gift but others may only give you 90 days from

\nthe time you <\/i>register<\/b>. Quickly scan the Terms and

\nConditions to be sure you know the time restrictions.<\/p>\n

<\/i>The most important thing you can do during this process is to

\nkeep some simple documentation of what you are doing. Write

\ndown every piece of information that you send or receive along

\nwith the respective dates, including the date that you registered,

\nand the websites and cancellation information for each of the

\noffers you complete. <\/p>\n

\nMost offers will probably involve some sort of subscription

\nwith a free trial period, after which you will be billed

\nautomatically. Be sure to cancel these before the trial period

\nends. Set schedule alarms, place reminder sticky notes around

\nyour house, whatever it takes, but DO NOT forget to cancel

\nthem.<\/p>\n

\nYou will definitely have to spend a few bucks here and there

\nfor shipping and spend some time filling out forms and making

\nphone calls to cancel memberships, but the free gifts will almost

\nalways outweigh the cost to you.<\/p>\n

\nThe bottom line here is that these incentive programs DO work

\nif you know how to complete them correctly. Hopefully these

\ntips will be helpful for you in your next free gift incentive
